We should find here Mount Mandara, as well as the depiction of the vessel containing the amrita, but only small-sized images of the elephant Airavata and the horse Ucchaihshravs, two of the by-products of the churning, can be seen above the disc held up by Vishnu.

Vishnu's victory over the Asuras
A. The armies of the asuras, coming from both sides, converge towards the center of the panel where Vishnu and Garuda inflict severe blows on men and animals alike. We know from an inscription that this panel was completed in the middle of the 16th century. The same applies to the next bas-relief. Their style is different and the execution of the carvings less appealing, lacking the refinement of the panels carved in the 12th century.
